Lanzado al mercado el 5 de mayo de 2018, Pensando en ti, quinto álbum de Annaé Torrealba, sigue marcando pauta, esta vez con la presentación del video de su más reciente promocional, No voy sin ti.
Con poesía de Henry Martínez, música, arreglos y producción de Juan Carlos Torrealba, quien también interpreta el piano, el tema escrito a la memoria de Juan Vicente Torrealba fue presentado a finales de junio pasado, logrando rápidamente escalar posiciones en las carteleras, ratificando la receptividad que ha despertado esta producción, que ubicó sus cinco primeros singles en honorables sitiales de las principales carteleras del país.
Es así como el primer sencillo estrenado, Es verdad, se transformó de clásica balada pop de los años ochenta en un pasaje llanero con piano, arpa, cuatro y maracas que agradó y sorprendió a su creador, Ilan Chester, con quien lo interpreta en esta producción.

Por su parte, Pajarito, segundo track promocional, se mantuvo durante varios meses en los principales conteos y carteleras. Presentado con un videoclip realizado en el monumento El Calvario, en Caracas, “apuesta a una forma contemporánea y elegante de interpretar el pajarillo, género tradicional del folklore, apostando a la renovación de la música venezolana sin desvirtuar su esencia”, como afirma la cantante.
Entretanto Pensando en ti, tema que da nombre a esta producción, fue el tercer single del disco, logrando colocarse entre las favoritas de la temporada navideña pasada dentro de los charts del género gaita, pese a ser una danza zuliana.
Cantado a dúo con el cantante mexicano Kike Orozco, Oriente es otro color ha sido el cuarto éxito de este trabajo. La conocida canción escrita por Henry Martínez se ubicó entre las favoritas de varias estaciones de radio a nivel nacional, al igual que el quinto tema, Si te vuelvo a ver, merengue venezolano del compositor Ignacio Izcaray que cuenta la historia de los que se fueron, desde los sentimientos de quienes se quedaron extrañándolos.
Tal como ha sucedió con el video de No voy sin ti, el audiovisual de Si te vuelvo a ver, filmado durante dos días en el pueblo de El Hatillo, se ha robado el corazón y sacado lágrimas de los espectadores con sus entrañables escenas inspiradas en la nostalgia, la ausencia y las despedidas de esos afectos que, o bien pasaron a otro plano, como es el caso del maestro Juan Vicente, o se encuentran radicados en otras latitudes.

Además de esta intensa actividad como cantante, y a punto de culminar su participación como jurado en la segunda temporada del reality de canto “La Voz Imbatible”; esta versátil emprendedora se apresta a impulsar su labor a la cabeza del voluntariado artístico de la Fundación Cantamos por la Paz, con una conferencia basada en su programa de radio “Sonidos de Venezuela”.
Esta charla, que busca promover la identidad nacional a través de la cultura, se efectuará el 17 de julio en la Universidad Santa María y el 25 de julio en la Universidad Central de Venezuela, en una combinación de las campañas “Sembrando paz” y “Música con propósito” que lleva adelante para esta ONG.
