Este sábado 20 de julio a las 04:00 pm, el Teatro Municipal de Caracas será el magno escenario del cierre del ciclo Solistas Venezolanos, que presenta la Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Caracas, gestión cultural de la Alcaldía de Caracas, contando con la participación del talentoso flautista venezolano Huáscar Barradas, quien se reencuentra con la OSMC bajo la dirección del maestro Rodolfo Saglimbeni.

Después de casi 15 años el talentoso músico, compositor y productor musical marabino se reencuentra con la Sinfónica Municipal, orquesta a la que perteneció durante 7 años. En esta oportunidad Barradas interpretará el Concierto para Flauta y Orquesta del compositor italiano Giuseppe Saverio Mercadante.
La formación musical de Barradas proviene de haber realizado estudios en importantes conservatorios y universidades de Venezuela, Alemania y los Estados Unidos. Virtuoso, versátil, profundo y vanguardista. Pionero del movimiento musical venezolano Neo -Folklore donde combina de una manera muy original el folklore, el jazz, la música académica y diferentes tendencias musicales contemporáneas.

Para celebrar el Día del Niño, la OSMC también ofrecerá el Concierto para Viola del compositor, profesor y director austrohúngaro Johann Hummel donde la solista será la talentosa niña Nicole Gedler, quien es alumna de la cátedra de viola en la Escuela de Música Mozarteum Caracas. Desde hace tiempo, pese a su corta edad, Nicole viene dando que hablar por sus grandes habilidades, y este sábado tendrá la oportunidad de tocar esta joya de concierto.

El programa cierra con una obra maestra The Thrill de Playing – Pecks. El concierto será en la modalidad de “Conciertos Comentados”, con ejemplos musicales en extraordinaria cátedra de parte de Sadao Muraki, Pianista y Presidente de la Orquesta, quien ya ha convertido en ésta didáctica práctica previa a los conciertos, en una de las características más importantes de todo el proceso de interacción de la Orquesta con su público.
