Con sonidos propios del jazz y el pop fusionados con los ritmos venezolanos, Ile Des Phoques, es una explosión de poesía. El significado de su nombre es “Isla de las Focas” y corresponde a una crítica social al comportamiento de masas que vivimos actualmente en nuestro país. Conformada por Maga Urdaneta González [Guitarra y voz], Andy Ortiz Urbina [Guitarra Eléctrica], Jorge Ramoncini [ Bajo] y César Villarroel [Batería]; esta banda es de las que cautiva a los más sensibles gustos musicales.
Luego de lanzar a principios de año su tema “Ocarina” acompañado de un video, Ile Des Phoques, emprenden un recorrido musical y promocional por la ciudad de Caracas. Para el mes de Septiembre prometen el lanzamiento de “Lejos de ti”, su nuevo sencillo promocional, este es letra y música de Andy Ortiz Urbina y que trata, “…sobre el anhelo de querer estar con alguien pero no podemos hacerlo y de cómo eso nos hace sentir ansiosos y perdidos y hasta un poco loco… En el ámbito musical, es un tema pop-rock pero con cadencia de un blues a 12/8″, como bien nos comenta el mismo Andy.

El video de “Lejos de ti”, será lanzado el mismo día del show, 27 de Septiembre, por sus redes sociales y es dirigido por Pedro Mercado, quien nos comenta, “…cuando escuché la canción por primera vez pensé en movimiento, como en un vals donde se dan vueltas y vueltas. Luego la banda quería que apareciera la ciudad, así que pensamos en una idea donde pudiéramos retratar a Caracas en constante movimiento y que en medio de ese movimiento estuviese alguien abstraído disfrutando la canción. Como cuando besas o abrazas a un ser querido. Mientras dura ese momento no importa nadie más…”.
