La Academia de Verano de la Escuela Mozarteum Caracas se presenta en su primera edición como una alternativa de formación musical de alto nivel que recibirá a niños y jóvenes ejecutantes de violín y viola provenientes de diferentes estados del país del 3 al 16 de agosto de 2019.
Cada curso tendrá una duración de 9 días durante los cuales se ofrecerán clases individuales, grupales, charlas, conversatorios, clases para niños, conciertos de alumnos y profesores y demás actividades musicales. Es este un proyecto ideado por las profesoras de Violín, María Fernanda Montero, y de viola, Adriana Virgüez motivadas por ofrecer un espacio privilegiado para los estudiantes de ambos instrumentos que buscan seguir desarrollando su talento en Venezuela. Han sido invitados a acompañar este proyecto la Prof. Carla Rincón, quien reside en Brasil, y el Prof. Carlos Paúl Rondón, residenciado en México, venezolanos poseedores de una gran carrera musical que engrandece a nuestro país más allá de sus fronteras.

La Academia abre sus puertas mañana 3 de agosto de 2019 con el inicio del Curso de viola gracias a la confianza y el apoyo de del Banco Activo quien con su aporte hizo posible el viaje del prof. Carlos Paúl Rondón; al Fondo de Valores Inmobiliario #SomosTalentoVenezolano, empresa que no dudó en ser parte de este proyecto y becó a 25 estudiantes; a Ideal Music quien por su parte ofreció 4 becas para el curso de violín; a la empresa Farmarato quien nos apoyó con recursos para la logística del curso y a un grupo de particulares anónimos que generosamente becaron a cuatro de estudiantes- El equipo de la Academia expresa su agradecimiento a Elizabeth Marichal, Directora de la Escuela Mozarteum Caracas.
Por creer en el potencial de nuestro país, por saber que en los niños y jóvenes se anida el futuro de Venezuela, por entender que el que se acerca a la música y busca la excelencia en la práctica de un instrumento se convierte no sólo en un buen músico sino en un mejor ser humano, es que se abren las puertas de la Academia de Verano Mozarteum Caracas, proyecto busca establecerse como un espacio de referencia formadora en nuestro país y en el continente.
