En 2019, @mannymarquezjr fue convocado por Ariacne Trujillo, directora musical de Carmen to Havana & Back, para formar parte del staff de músicos, destacando por su excelente ejecución de las congas. Esta obra es una adaptación dinámica del clásico “Carmen” que regresa con una emocionante combinación de teatro, música en vivo, vida nocturna y baile en 360 °, que se presenta en el Publics Art Hotel de New York, Off Broadway.
Por su parte, el también percusionista venezolano, Carlitos Padrón, lo selecciona como suplente oficial en el exitoso musical titulado On Your Feet, traducido del inglés ¡En tus pies!, basado en la vida y música de los esposos Gloria y Emilio Estefan, con un libro escrito por el ganador del Premio de la Academia, Alexander Dinelaris (Bridman), con funciones de miércoles a domingo en el Teatro Westchester en Broadway.

El caraqueño, oriundo de los Magallanes de Catia, reside actualmente en la ciudad de New York, donde se desempeña como músico en diferentes orquestas de reconocidos intérpretes internacionales, en especial, con el prodigioso músico cubano, Pedrito Martínez, que desarrolla sus habilidades en los géneros: Afrocubano, World Music, entre otros.

Manuel Márquez, nació en Caracas, un 04 de julio de 1992. Desde los cuatro años inició su formación en la ejecución del timbal, tumbadora, bongo e instrumentos venezolanos, destacándose por su disciplina y perseverancia.
Formó parte de la orquestas infantil-juvenil de salsa venezolana “Salserín”, así como del Conservatorio de Música Simón Bolívar, Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela y la Simón Bolívar Big Band Jazz.
