Luego de dos exitosos conciertos, este domingo 14 de julio a las 11:30 am, el Teatro Municipal de Caracas será el magno escenario de tercer concierto del ciclo Solistas Venezolanos, que presenta la Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Caracas, gestión cultural de la Alcaldía de Caracas. En esta oportunidad el Milagro Musical Venezolano llega a este recinto cultural para celebrar los 55 años de la Agrupación Polifonía.
Las entradas tienen un costo de 4000 Bs. y estarán a la venta en las taquillas del teatro el día de la función.

La orquesta interpretará dos joyas de la música colonial venezolana bajo la dirección del maestro Sadao Muraki, el Salve Regina de Juan Manuel Olivares y la Gran Misa en Mi Bemol Mayor de Federico Villena que contará además con la participación de la soprano María Auristela Guanche, la mezzosoprano Amelia Salazar, los jóvenes talentos, el tenor Jesús Herrera y el barítono Anderson Peaspan.
La Agrupación Polifonía fue fundada en 1964 por la maestra Nazyl Báez-Finol y un grupo de personas preocupadas por rescatar y difundir nuestra música coral y sinfónico coral de todos los tiempos. Este año arriba a sus 55 años de labor ininterrumpida, con énfasis en la música sacra colonial, los madrigales de la Escuela de Santa Capilla y los Aguinaldos del siglo XIX recopilados por el Maestro Vicente Emilio Sojo. Ha editado discos compactos con de obras de los maestros de la Colonia: José Ángel Lamas, Caro de Boesi, José Francisco Velázquez, Pedro Nolasco Colón y Henrique León; del Maestro Vicente Emilio Sojo, de madrigales de compositores venezolanos y de Aguinaldos Tradicionales del siglo XIX.

El concierto será en la modalidad de “Conciertos Comentados”, con ejemplos musicales en extraordinaria cátedra de parte de Sadao Muraki, Pianista y Presidente de la Orquesta, quien ya ha convertido en ésta didáctica práctica previa a los conciertos, en una de las características más importantes de todo el proceso de interacción de la Orquesta con su público.
